Elaine Low is a Los Angeles-based writer and sometimes food blogger with a weakness for cheese.

She is currently a freelance copywriter for LivingSocial, whipping up belated birthday excuses, literary theories in the form of truffles, and a dreamy vacation or two for LivingSocial Escapes.

The former managing editor of Mochi magazine, Elaine has previously contributed to publications and webmags like Audrey, Hyphen, and CollegeCandy. She graduated from college summa cum laude with a degree in journalism, and spent a year as a fellow at the Japanese American Citizens League, working with the anti-hate crime and youth programs. 

Reenacting internet memes in real life is one of her favorite hobbies.
